So excellent starts from the Mens 30s, Mens Open and senior women. The heavy defeat to Wales was a blow to the Womens Open team, however Wales are the only team seeded higher in the group and all 4 European nations in Group A will go through to the WO quarter finals. The M35 was a very close game that could have gone either way but the guys feel they didn't play at their best and have another crack at Wales tomorrow. Shock of the day may be the XO's loss to Austria, the lowest seeded team in their group. This is shaping up to be a close group in the battle for the 4 quarter final places from the 7 teams. Expect some more close results from this group...

Elsewhere there were big wins for the England WO over Germany, the Wales M30 over Guernsey and the England M35 are also looking good, featuring players who have played for the M30 over the last couple of years.
